The Contenders MCAT's Free Kids Movie Making Summer Camp 2014 Short Film
These kids had three days to make a film, one less than half day to come up with a story, and almost two half days to complete it. They learned the basics in film theory, screenwriting, production tasks, and showcased a screening at the end of the camp. Taught by certified Film Instructor and Production Trainer Christian Ackerman, Journalist and Filmmaker Scott Ranf, and with the help of MCAT staff members, and including MCAT staff members Melissa Koch, and Dylan Albans.
